“Lassana Pasala” (Beautiful School) is a recently launched initiative aimed at enhancing the learning environment of students by improving the aesthetics and maintenance of selected schools. We believe that a clean, well-maintained, and visually appealing school atmosphere contributes significantly to the students’ overall educational experience and outcomes.
Due to the ongoing economic challenges, both the government and parents are unable to allocate sufficient funds for regular school maintenance. To address this, we have selected several schools in the Matale and Anuradhapura districts, identified by the district engineer for education buildings/NGO secretaries in respective areas, that are in dire need of repairs and refurbishment.
We will provide all necessary materials required for the refurbishment. The project includes cleaning, painting, and minor repairs. Parents from the school community will assist with the painting process, fostering a sense of ownership and involvement in the project.
