The Annual Books and Stationery Donation initiative aims to support underprivileged students in rural areas by providing essential educational supplies. For the past 8 years, this program has positively impacted over 4,800 students. Our goal for the 2025 project is to support another 1,000 students in the Matale and Anuradhapura districts, helping them access the tools they need for a successful academic year.
In many rural areas, families struggle to afford basic school supplies, which negatively affects the educational progress of students. Recognizing this need, we launched the Annual Books and Stationery Donation initiative, focusing on providing students with essential learning materials such as exercise books, pens, pencils, and other supplies. This initiative has been particularly successful in empowering students to continue their education without financial burdens.
The project will focus on selecting the most deserving schools in the Matale and Anuradhapura districts, where students face economic hardships. Each student will receive a package containing the necessary books and stationery for their academic year.
